Nasir plot
Nasir is a gentle Muslim, a man with a hard life in India's southern state of Tamil Nadu. He has to scrape to pay for the daily groceries and is forced to skip meals. Adoptive son Iqbal has the body of an adult, but the mind and vulnerability of a toddler. His boss at the textile shop does little to hide his distaste for Muslims. Despite everything, Nasir remains optimistic. Meanwhile, Nasir worries about his wife who will be out of town for a few days and wonders if he wouldn't be better off working as a migrant worker in Abu Dhabi.
