Nakorn-Sawan plot
Aoey visits the Pak Nam Po River, where she thinks she will reach heaven. There she wants to send her recently deceased mother to the afterlife. Early in the morning she boards a boat with her father, other relatives and an old friend who is now a monk. This fictional story is interspersed with documentary footage of the mourning of the filmmaker's mother, who passed away in 2017, and of her father, who works alone in a rubber factory.
