Aspiring actress Robina Adams gets a job with the provincial repertory company headed by Mrs. Camelot. She still cares deeply about her late husband and makes everyone's life miserable. Then she is suddenly found dead. Robina, because of her background and because she was staying with Mrs. Camelot, is suddenly suspected of murder. It turns out that Mrs. Camelot has left all her money to Robina.
