"He gambled a million dollars to put the world on the spot"
George Constantin is a successful businessman who works unscrupulously. Constantin hopes to have a major influence on the world economy and maintains constant intensive telephone contact with 'John and everyone'. Besides the activities of his company, all Constantin cares about is his daughter Georgette. He calls his daughter 'Joy', but neglects his wife Ava. In order to obtain valuable raw materials, which he needs for a 'top secret' project, Constantin arranges a marriage between Joy and the son of a Middle Eastern despot. But Joy is in love with journalist Larry Boyd, who turns out to be investigating her father's questionable trades. In addition, Ava has another unpleasant surprise in store for her husband George.
