Mullum Malarum plot
Kaali is a winch operator who adores his sister. As a child they were orphaned and have a close bond. However, their relationship is strained when the beautiful Manga appears in their lives. Meanwhile, Kaali clashes at work with his boss, Kumaran. One day, for dereliction of duty, Kaali is temporarily suspended, after which he becomes enraged and drunk, causing a horrific accident.
