After a train accident, the heavily pregnant passenger Connie (Lake) is mistaken for the widow of one of the victims of the disaster, a very wealthy businessman. The misunderstanding reaches an absurd level when Connie decides to play along and is then lovingly cared for by her grieving 'in-law'.
