mrs. Parker thinks back to 1920s New York. As a writer, she headed the elite group of that time: The Algonquin Round Table. In the chic Algonquin Hotel, the group agreed every day to have lunch together. Everyone wanted to be part of the group, but only the best of the best writers were allowed to sit at the round table. Behind the scenes of this powerful group of writers, actors and poets lay a lot of grief, alcohol and despair.
