Mr. Chedworth Steps Out plot

George Chedworth has a poorly paid job and is in trouble with his wife. His son keeps borrowing money from him to pay off his gambling debts. Chedworth is fired due to the economic crisis and finds a new job as a caretaker of an old warehouse. When he finds a bag of money there, his financial problems seem to be solved.
