Mr. and Mrs. Edgehill plot

Just before the Second World War, Eustace and Dorrie Edgehill have decided to leave Samola, a British protectorate in the Pacific. Despite his past as a failed entrepreneur, Eustace is still supported by his loving wife. When they are about to return to England, Eustace is offered the island of Cowrie by the Foreign Office, which turns out to be an important seaplane station for the Americans. Much to Dorrie's remorse and surprise, Eustace accepts and takes up the challenge.
