Mother's Red Dress plot
Paul is a young man who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder. He recalls an incident from his childhood when his mother Laura murdered her abusive boyfriend. After that, Paul leaves the house and heads for a small town in southern California. Here he meets Ashley, who inspires him to pick up his life again. Then he receives an urgent call from his mother Laura, who is dying of cancer. She wants to reunite Paul with his father who left them years ago. Paul returns home to help his mother and reunite with his father, but a terrible and painful truth awaits him.
