In 2036, 31-year-old Ryosuke Fujii triumphantly returns to his hometown as a famous photographer. There he again sees his childhood friend Kento, who shows him a model of a dinosaur that is supposed to represent "Biwassie", the "Nessie" of Lake Biwa. Twenty years earlier, along with Ryosuke's niece Saki, they saw a huge black object swimming on the surface of Lake Biwa. No one believed them then, but Ryosuke learns that his late mother Yumiko also saw the creature and did a lot of research on the legendary dragon god Biwassie.
