Zan va Bache plot
Single mother Mahnaz combines her work as a nurse with raising her children. While preparations for her wedding to Hamid have started, she hears the news that her son is expelled from school. Furthermore, a tragic event occurs that sends Mahnaz into action.

Mahnaz [Parinaz Izadyar] is a divorced mother of two who hesitates to remarry Hamid [Payman Maadi]. The suspension (due to structural misconduct) of her son Aliyar [Sinan Mohebi] results in a tragedy that leaves Mahnaz embittered. As she loses herself in attempts to seek revenge, she becomes estranged from her mother [Fereshteh Sadra Orafaiy], her younger sister [Soha Niasti], and her young daughter Neda [Arshida Dorostkar], who witnessed the tragedy. Roustayi spends an unnecessary amount of time sketching the characters and their relationships. Only after an hour does the tragedy occur that sets the story in motion and shows the effect it has on those relationships. This dark psychological drama is excellently acted, with the disarming Dorostkar standing out.
