Mother plot

Julie is a suburban housewife who is cleaning her living room one day when she unexpectedly finds a used condom under the couch. Obviously it's not Julie's, leaving only two other people in the house whose condom could be: her 15-year-old daughter or her husband. As she discusses the question and its implications with her therapist, Julie's discovery quietly but forcefully overturns the tidy corners of her domestic existence, and whatever the answer to her existential conundrum, the consequences can be disturbing and potentially catastrophic. Yet her urge for answers forces her to clash with the hidden conflicts of her family and her marriage.
