Mistyfikacja plot

Biopic about the famous Polish writer, painter, photographer and philosopher Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz, better known as Witkacy, who allegedly committed suicide in 1939 under unclear circumstances. After that, unknown works and letters from him regularly surfaced, and when he was to be reburied in 1994, a young woman was found in his grave. Witkacy was a provocateur and enfant terrible, always looking for new inspiration and not averse to a practical joke. Set largely in the communist 1960s, the film is about a college student who is convinced Witkacy is still alive. In search of evidence, he urges Witkacy's last girlfriend, the reclusive Ceslawa, who would still be regularly visited by Witkacy.
