"The revealing romance of a flapper's adventures on life's highway."
After returning from France, Barbara Brown, the impulsive daughter of an American millionaire, learns that her father has died in New York and that she does not inherit any money. Disillusioned Barbara is penniless in San Francisco. She then accepts a "last-minute" invitation to a New Year's Eve party. Barbara avoids the direct attention of gigolo JB Hardiman at this party by disguising herself as a boy.
