Mio Dio Come Sono Caduta in Basso! plot
Marchioness Eugenia di Maqueda, an orphan raised by the nuns, marries Raimondo Corrao, but on her wedding night she finds out that he is actually her brother. The bad news comes from a letter from Paris written by their father, a womanizer who hides from them and lives in Paris. To avoid a scandal, the couple decide to live together as brother and sister. He will later leave for the war in Libya and she will find comfort and sexual satisfaction in the arms of their driver.
