Milk and Fashion plot

Young Tyler Ralstin travels from the rural village of Yunnan to Shanghai to live with his Uncle Jack. Jack must balance the effort his job requires and his role as Tyler's mentor. Jack helps Tyler make tough decisions on his way to adulthood. Jack is the president of a cultural investment company that sponsors an international fashion competition. One of the designers is Yao Yao, a former ballerina, who has decided to fulfill her dream of becoming a professional designer. The stories of Tyler's road to adulthood and Yao Yao's dream wish meet along the way. Yao Yao finds a friend and mentor in Anna, an international magazine editor, who helps Yao Yao stay true to her goals.
