Meres tou '36 plot
Greece, 1936, shortly before the dictatorship of Metaxas. A former drug mule and police informer, Sofianos, is in prison for the murder of a union leader. A conservative politician, Kriezis, with whom Sofianos has previously had a homosexual relationship, visits him in prison. With a smuggled gun Sofianos manages to take him hostage in his cell and demands his release. The country is in crisis and the government does not know what to do: releasing Kriezis means losing the votes of the Democrats, the other solution will lead to the loss of the Conservative votes. In desperation, the government decides to have Sofianos killed.
