Zakaria makes a living by impersonating Malaysian actor, singer and filmmaker P. Ramlee. It’s not a dream job in 1970s Kuala Lumpur: the real Ramlee has just died and his art is already outdated. But when Yusef, Zakaria’s creditor, offers him the chance to repay his debts by entertaining his sister, who believes she’s living in the 1950s, in the guise of Ramlee, everything seems to work out.
