Memories Corner plot

The young French journalist Ada Servier visits Japan to investigate the phenomenon of 'death by loneliness', a phenomenon that occurred mainly after the Kobe earthquake in 1995. She interviews some people in Kobe and meets Kenji Ishida. She learns that he himself was a photojournalist during the Kobe earthquake and that he has a secret.
