Mem-Ü Zin plot

About three hundred years ago, there lived in Botan a ruler named Zeyniddin Bey. He has two beautiful sisters, Zin and Siti. During the Nevroz celebration, the two sisters take part in the festivities, which also include two young men, Mem and Tajdin. Both young men, who are of good descent, fall in love with the two sisters. The ruler Zeyniddin agrees to the marriage of Tajdin and Siti, but not to the marriage of Mem and Zin because the vizier Beko has turned the ruler against Mem. Mem and Zin, however, are madly in love with each other, and continue to hang out. When they are caught by the visor, Mem is arrested.
