McKenna Shoots for the Stars plot
McKenna Brooks is a determined and confident young gymnast. She's about to be accepted into the regional gymnastics team, but her school performance is not up to par. Her teacher advises her to contact a mentor, but she is ashamed and desperately tries to keep it a secret from her friends. When she falls during gymnastics, she ends up sidetracked there too. It will be a matter of whether she recovers physically in time to join the regional team, and whether she can improve her poor school performance.
