Manuel de Ribera plot

At the age of 48, Manuel De Ribera receives a special legacy: an uninhabited island in southern Chile, located opposite a small fishing bay. Alienated from family and friends, De Ribera, a man of twelve trades and thirteen accidents, seizes this opportunity to wrestle himself from the society in which he cannot settle.
