Maman plot
A 60-year-old mother has been abandoned by the man she has shared her life with for the past 20 years. Therefore, she decides to settle in Paris near her two daughters. Her sudden and unfortunate appearance after 20 years of indifference opens old wounds for Sandrine and Alice. Their emotions take over and their past catches up with them. In addition, they blame their mother for their own neuroses. So they decide to kidnap their mother in order to earn the love they never got from her. She is drugged and taken unconscious to a place she doesn't know: a secluded beach house they rented from a friend. During this forced togetherness, in which the situation sometimes derails and then overwhelms them again, the two girls are incessantly searching for what they most desire: a motherly love that they have been missing for so long.
