Mali plot

Mid 19th century. Mali, beautiful, wild and also a bit evil, is banished from Hesse to Bavaria for debauchery. On the way to Munich a certain Benedictus Hohenester passes by, but she loses sight of him. When her last money is stolen during the trip, she is put to work by the police as a cleaning lady in a monastery hospital. And Mali recognizes her old friend Resi in a patient. With her knowledge of healing powers, Mali tries to heal Resi. After Resi's death, Mali still finds some money and continues her journey to Munich. Once there, she again meets Benedictus Hohenester.
