Mai Ratima plot

The hopeless and unemployed Soo-young sees that a Thai woman named Mai Ratima is in danger and he helps her. After she married a Korean and moved to Korea, she was emotionally destroyed by her husband and his family. Soo-young and Mai fall in love and they run off together. Their happiness is short-lived, however, as Soo-young is seduced by Young-jin and leaves Mai. Years later he visits her again and notices that she is no longer the same as the Mai he left behind.
