Madonna of the Streets plot

May Fisher is the mistress of a rich man who dies before he could change his will to make her his heiress. Instead, his million dollars will go to his cousin Peter Morton who runs a mission on San Francisco's Barbary Coast. May and her servant then travel to San Francisco to dispose of the money she believes belongs to her. By pretending to be Mary Smith, a woman who has gone down the drain, May can easily infiltrate the mission. May even becomes Peter Morton's assistant…
