Mademoiselle O plot

Far from her native Switzerland, Mademoiselle O joins a French-speaking Russian aristocratic family in Saint Petersburg as a governess. It is 1905 and because of the revolution the two children are mostly in the direct care of the Swiss girl. Initially, the vain eldest son and the young woman do not click, but gradually she discovers a brilliant poet in the boy. Meanwhile, his father plunges into politics and takes a stand against the Tsar.
