Ma Dar Behesht plot
Twenty-five-year-old teacher Hanieh teaches little girls the rules they have to comply with in the patriarchal society of Iran, while she herself seems to have more and more trouble with the strict customs. A well-fitting hijab is for your own safety, she tells her students, and yet it doesn't stop the men in the street from harassing her or kidnapping young girls. Caught in a world of contrasts - between the rebellious acts of preschool girls and the rigid attitude of older executives - she feels her own open-mindedness slowly disappear.
