Julie Thompson (Christine Kelly) is a young conservative woman who is tested to the limit by God when she gives birth to a child conceived by rape. The decision to give birth to the child forces her to rediscover and redefine her relationship with God, her family, friends and even her rapist Mike Connor (Arturo Fernandez). She tries to forgive the man who abused her by visiting him in prison and bonding with him.
