Love's Prisoner plot

"A gripping melodrama of thrills and mystery"

A young lady, who doesn't care about all the laws and regulations, works her way up from the slums to the better class. She commits a number of thefts to support her new lifestyle. Her relationship with a police inspector gets in trouble when he has to solve the thefts she has committed.
