Love, Danielle plot

When Danielle, a happily married woman in her thirties, tests positive for a BRCA1 gene mutation, she discovers she is at extremely high risk for breast and ovarian cancer. She now struggles with daily life: working in her bakery with her husband, Pat, and hanging out with her clueless best friends at game nights. Her older, know-it-all sister, Amy, is already undergoing chemotherapy before her breast cancer diagnosis. Danielle is now considering having her "ticking time bomb" breasts and reproductive organs removed preventatively before the cancer takes her too.
