Love Comes Along plot
Sailor Johnny Stark and the crew of a steamboat dock on the island of Caparoja where the local potentate, Colonel Sangredo, tells them about the island's many delights. Johnny and his friend Happy meet stranded American actress Peggy, who now sings in a cantina. After discovering that his girlfriend Carlotta has left him, Sangredo agrees with Peggy to sing at a party. Johnny tells Peggy that he is in love with her and then proposes to her, but he is furious when he learns of her agreement with Sangredo.
