Los Que Vuelven plot
South America, 1919. In a magical place by an imposing waterfall, Julia, the wife of a landowner, makes a plea to the Iguazú, the mythical mother of day and night. Julia's maid has warned that this is strictly forbidden according to the natives. Nevertheless, she does and Julia's stillborn son comes back to life – but he is not the only one who returns. The price turns out to be high and makes two worlds tilt. On the one hand those of the European conquerors and their priest, on the other that of the exploited or killed Guaranís (Indians).
