The Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986) is regarded as an important exponent of South American literature and is one of the most important contemporary fiction writers. This film is built around the work of Borges. In dramatized scenes, interspersed with interview fragments and archive material, we see the writer as inhabitant of his own dreams and fantasies, wandering in time and in the labyrinth of the books in the library. Actor Walter Santa Ana brings the world of Borges to life.
