Liza plot
A man has withdrawn from consumerism and marriage on a desert island in the Mediterranean Sea with his dog as his only companion. A young bourgeois quarrels with her party during a cruise and comes to stay on the island. Intrigued, she stays longer and eventually refuses to leave. She kills the dog and takes on its servile affection to make herself indispensable.
