Lin Jia Pu Zi plot
Lin owns a shop in Zhejiang Province in 1931, at the time of the Japanese invasion of Manchuria. Students have started a boycott of Japanese products. Lin therefore puts other brands on the Japanese products in order to be able to continue to sell them. However, to keep his shop going, he has to use more and more underhanded tricks. After his daughter is threatened by the advances of the chief of police, Lin decides to give up. He closes his shop and flees with his daughter.
