Lilly Turner plot
Lilly Turner's misery begins when she marries a man who later turns out to have multiple wives. However, she did have his child, so she soon marries another man so that her child will have a father. Her new husband is an alcoholic, whom she soon wants to get rid of, but when he breaks his back, she decides to stay with him.
