Life for Ruth plot
When John Harris's (Michael Craig) daughter is seriously injured in a boating accident, she urgently needs a blood transfusion to survive. Because of his religious beliefs, John refuses, and his daughter dies. When John is simply acquitted of all guilt, the attending physician calls in the police to charge him with manslaughter.
