Life after Life plot

Ex-IRA member Leo Doyle (Lorcan Cranitch), who was sentenced to life in prison for an assassination attempt, is released from prison after 14 years. This means that he is closely watched and that at the slightest misstep he will be sent back to prison, because the state never forgives. Social integration is anything but easy. His former comrades advise him to forget them, for his face is too familiar.
