Liebst Du Mich plot

Herbert (Peter Simonischek) once managed to save Maria (Juliane Köhler) from a hopeless existence by marrying her and taking care of her and her son Paul (Robert Stadlober). Now he expects an unhealthy kind of devotion and loyalty from her. He is jealous of the love Mother gives to her son and tries to push him out of the picture. He gets that chance when Paul makes a mistake, which could land him on a prison sentence.
