Liberty Belle plot

The story is set against the background of the French-Algerian question in 1960. Julien has just become half orphaned and, due to his calm instinctiveness, ends up in different spheres of influence. More because of his hidden adventurousness than for real political reasons, he gets into bad papers at school and is eventually kicked out. His militia reprieve expires, but the young man does not want to fight against a people whose independence he defends in conscience. He decides to go into hiding...
