Liar, Liar plot

"A family torn apart by the accusation of sexual abuse."

The Farrows are a seemingly ordinary family, but not without their problems. Father Gil is unemployed and mother Mary is responsible for the family maintenance alone. At a birthday party for one of the kids, 11-year-old Kelly locks her brother in the bathroom to bully him. Her father punishes her very severely for this. Kelly goes to bed sulking and swears to herself that Daddy will "never hurt her like that again".
