"How you gonna make it right?"

An inmate (Thornton) is released after 19 years after serving a sentence for the death of a teenager during a robbery. During his sentence, he had a photo of the teen on the wall and stared at it constantly. Once free, he tries to find some sort of personal redemption with the help of a priest and two women.
