Leuk voor Later plot

Nice for Later is a tragicomic film about the intimate and at the same time stifling family bond of the Beumertjes: Els, Leo and their adolescent children Jurgen and Esther. Els wants to show that she has it all done and that the years do not affect her appearance or her marriage. Els turns 45 and has made a gigantic brunch and everyone will know that too. Leo dutifully participates in this theater, but in the meantime he is busy with completely other things. The children use a digital video camera as a means to painfully expose and record all this family suffering.
