Les Thibault plot

The history of the Thibault family is told in four parts. Oscar Thibault (Jean Yanne) rules his affairs with a heavy hand and does not spare his family. He tries to give his two sons a solid education and hopes that they will become just like him. When it turns out that the eldest son thinks differently about a number of things, Oscar Thibault is deeply disappointed. A story about a father who only had good intentions, but who held on to his children too tightly.
