Les Jeux Sont Faits plot

Eva and Pierre died at the same time, in the capital of a country subject to the regime of the dictator Aguerra. Eva was married to the wealthy André Charlier, the Secretary General of the Militia, but was poisoned by her husband because the latter lusted after her younger sister. Pierre, a simple worker, was in charge of the Liberation League, which was preparing an uprising. He was knocked down by a young spy and died. Eva and Pierre meet in the afterlife, where they can still see what happens in the world of the living. And so Pierre discovers that Aguerra, the dictator, is carrying out a ruthless repression while Eva becomes aware of her husband's two faces. As husband and wife destined for each other, but never met in their lifetime, they now get a second chance...
