Les Honneurs de la Guerre plot

In August 1944, Nanteuil was just liberated after four years of occupation. Everyone is singing and dancing in the streets. But the party is interrupted by about thirty German soldiers, who drive into the city. The population flees to the church, while the rough Wehrmacht soldiers, who no longer have a commander, march through the streets.
