Les Fruits Sauvages plot
Lyon, 1953. Maria Manzana is the eldest of a family of five children and the only one with a job. Maria's mother has passed away and her father is regularly drunk and violent. One night he wants to hit his daughter Christine, but Maria comes to her aid and accidentally kills her father. On Maria's advice, they decide to flee. Maria's brother Michel takes his girlfriend Anna, whom he does not want to leave behind. A friendly truck driver takes the party south and then they walk on deserted roads to a village that has been abandoned for lack of water 25 years ago.
