Odette Laffont is released from the women's prison. She wants to break with her past and the prostitution environment. The next day, her body is found in the water. Was it the pimps' reckoning? From Paul, the bartender of the Zanzi - located in the quarter frequented by mobsters? Or from someone else? Several potential suspects are brought to the police station and questioned.
